HELP US WITH INFRASTRUCTURE AND EQUIPMENT NEEDS

• Solar Expansion Project
  Our transition from a small Outpatient Clinic and laboratory to a small hospital with operating rooms and an ICU, will require considerable expansion of our solar and alternative power center capabilities. COST: Initial Phase $50,000


• Structural Landscaping at FAME Medical
  Upon completion of our new inpatient facility, we will have three buildings at FAME Medical -- our Outpatient Clinic, our Laboratory, and our Hospital. While the buildings are adjacent one to another, we need to connect the three buildings with covered walkways and ramps for our patients, as well as gravel the parking and pedestrian areas to reduce dust and mud. COST: $15,000


• Rain Water Collection and Storage System
  We have extremely limited and precarious water resources in our area. We currently have a bore hole and small water storage system. By building three high capacity water storage tanks, along with guttering systems, we would be able to collect and store 45,000 liters of water in only one night of light rain.

• Volunteer Duplex
  We have an increasing number of doctors and nurses expressing an interest in volunteering at FAME, and we need their help. Presently, we have two volunteer bungalows that can accommodate up to four persons each IF bedrooms are shared. Building a duplex on the compound for our long-term (3-12 months) professional volunteers would provide them with greater privacy and space during their lengthy stay. COST: $30,000
